It's nights when I'm lying in my bed at 3 am, scrolling through i-D magazine's newest cover photos and Zoe Kravitz's latest selfies on Instagram that I really appreciate the internet and my ability to discover people, places and things from different corners of the word all with the simple tap of my finger.
I first got the Instagram app when I was 13 and since then I've created numerous accounts, some filled with my own images of me with family and friends, others with photos I simply found aesthetically pleasing. Most of those accounts are now just floating around on the internet, having not been edited or even looked at in years, but the content that remains digitally glued on those pages represent my own self discovery of the kind of things I appreciate like fashion photography and good selfie lighting.
It's super cool and kind of crazy how so much inspiration is literally at our fingertips, but it can be quite difficult to filter through all the meme accounts and anti-aging cream ads to develop a feed that is special to you.
I've selected a few of my favorite accounts that always inspire me fashion and style- wise and I'll give some tips on how to find accounts like these that will maybe be an inspiration for your own personal style

I stumbled upon this account when I was searching up black and white/ pale grunge aesthetic accounts and have been in love with it ever since. The owner of this account posts photos of her style along with photos of the artsy vibes of the places she's lived: NYC, Berlin and London. I'm really attracted to simple, monochromatic clothes and this account gave me ideas on how to put outfits together and how to be subtle yet in-your-face with my outfits.
I guess the tip here is to use that search bar: look up hashtags of things you're interested in ( #fashionblog, #citystyle, and #minimalism are a few of the ones I use on the daily).

I absolutely love a bit of playfulness in my style and this account always serves it up with its "digital Barbie" vibes. Joanna Kuchta is an Instagram model and she posts photos of her style which is reminiscent of the trends set by the pop culture of the 90's - early 2000's.
Looking up the accounts of models or social media icons that you love may clue you in to some very fearless personal style and may influence you to be more experimental with your own wardrobe.

This is just one of the many designer/ brand accounts I follow on Instagram. Vetements is an anonymous design collective that has been on the rise in past couple years, and that showcases a collection of designs that I find unique and revolutionary.
My final suggestion is to look up fashion brands that you love and see if you discover any new designers that inspire you with their collections.
